Hayate is the leader of the leafe knights and a protector of the pretear. He also works for Himeno's dad as an assistant.
Hayate is the first knight Himeno prets with, and usually he calls her names and yells at her. He finds her annoying and hard to be with but later one, he begins to warm up to her
Reason why he acts so cold?
The Pretear Princess before Himeno, fell in love with Hayate but he did not give back her feelings, so she turned into the Princess of darkness. Now Hayate belives that he should be harsh so's that Himeno doesn't fall in love with him and make another Princess of disaster.
